The Role:

Our Product Data team is growing! We’re looking for an exceptional senior data scientist to join us and help use data to shape the future direction of our products and to drive the growth of our business. You'll become part of a team of product analysts and data scientists who work closely with the Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams at You'll become a thought leader within our team, both by driving your own work and by providing technical guidance and oversight for more junior team members.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Identify trends and patterns in the usage of's products; use these insights to recommend product improvements and develop customer segmentation strategies
    • Create and deploy ML models to predict customer attributes including conversion, upsell, product feature adoption, attrition, and lifetime value
    • Design, implement and interpret product experiments
    • Partner with product, engineering, design and other technical teams to integrate data science and analytics into product area roadmaps
    • Partner and coach other team members

Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role):

    • Statistics, with emphasis on practical applications for product data science
    • Experience with ML modeling techniques across a range of problem spaces
    • Expertise in Python and SQL, with R a plus
    • Outstanding data analysis and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate analysis and insights to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

    • Master's degree or PhD (preferred) in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a similar quantitative field
    • 5+ years of experience in data science at a technical company, including at least 3+ years concentrating on product issues is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
