Data Analyst - Central Planning & Engineering Intern (6 Months)

The Service Standards & Solutions team, as part of Central Planning & Engineering (P&E), drives sustainable business growth by designing scalable and bespoke solutions for our customers. We strive to establish operational excellence and a seamless operational integration of FedEx and TNT within Europe. To achieve this, we define standards, provide support, deploy the latest technology and measure, monitor and help improve our service to our customers.
You will be working in a diverse team consisting of around 70 experts who are strategically positioned across Europe. Even though the team has a European focus, there are various projects with a global or multi-regional scope. Preferably we are looking for work-along interns who want to build on their experience and develop their competencies. However, we are also open to interns with research assignments that fit the Central P&E department.Data Analyst Description
As data analyst intern, you are part of a motivated team which is looking at innovative ways to analyse data using the latest analytics tools and processes. To help carry us even further, we are searching for a driven candidate to join our team.
As data analyst, you are supporting the team to identify service performance improvement opportunities in Europe, by deep diving into service metrics, performing root cause analysis and defining recommendations that can lead to real results. We are looking for a motivated and autonomous data-driven candidate, ready to make an impact in our department and company.

You need to:
- Have good command of English (any other European language is a plus).
- Be enrolled at a university of applied sciences (HBO) or a research university (WO) for the entire duration of the internship. Be legally permitted to work in The Netherlands (work permit).
- Be prepared to take initiative and maximize (learning) opportunities.
The internship location will be in the Netherlands. Given the current circumstances, working from home is still the norm for our team, however, once guidelines change, working in one of our offices, either in Hoofddorp, Veldhoven or elsewhere is also possible.
