Senior Data Scientist- Permanent
Location: Central London
The client
Working within the media space by building the tools to make media work for all. By helping brands activate new customer experiences by turning data into intelligence.
You
You will have a passion for data by developing and improving the product offerings of the team. You will be part of a larger team of data scientists in the Strategy Simulations team with expertise in a wide range of methodologies and tool kits.
Your responsibilities
- Developing and implementing computational simulations to predict and understand human behaviour.
- Performing exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing and data preparation.
- Exploring and identifying the latest techniques in behavioural analysis and simulation.
- Analysing and interpreting the results of model-based experiments.
- Using systems and internal processes efficiently and integrating these in daily work.
- Presenting insights and findings to stakeholders.
Your experience
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related field.
- Experience analysing large volumes of data and panel-based data.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical knowledge.
- Solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear and precise way.
- Programming proficiency in Python - especially numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, plotly etc and experience with git.
