Job description
Brandt has a position available for a Data Analyst in our Regina, SK location. The ideal candidate will obtain advanced knowledge in all areas of the Distributed and Manufactured Products Divisions working closely with vendors, developers and business users. Ensure all Software products deployed have appropriate training materials developed. Ensure all business processes conducted using the deployed software are documented including all associated reports, data inputs and outputs. Work with the business and the supplier of the software to ensure that any proposed business process changes are not detrimental to the overall system or other areas of the user community. Be instrumental in testing with business end users and new features and functions as well as any changes prior to deploying in a production environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the business end users and business process owners to ensure the systems are performing their intended role at Brandt.
- Create, implement, and maintain master data management solutions.
- Coordinate master data management efforts across the organization.
- Ensure all changes to the systems deployed are documented.
- Ensure all business processes are properly documented.
- Ensures end user training materials are current and available.
- Work collaboratively with all other IT disciplines at Brandt.
- Ensure that all work artifacts are properly documented, and documentation is maintained.
- Other duties as required.
Required Skills
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience with deployed software or 5 years experience supporting software applications
- Experience with Master Data Management tools & techniques
- Experience with Business Systems such as CRM, ERP, or SCM
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset
- Working knowledge of requirements gathering, facilitation, testing of software processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Analytics is an asset
- Understanding of relational databases, ELT/ETL tools is an asset
- Be able to provide exceptional customer service to the end user community
- Previous experience working on or participating in an IT Systems Project is an asset
