About the vacancy
DataArt’s client is a US-based firm focused on mortgage loans and the services around them. Our client has a vast IT systems landscape with multiple data sources. DataArt was engaged to support the client in expanding their existing system and building new parts of the data processing platform.
We’re looking for a Data Engineer who will work on building and maintaining ETL pipelines using 3rd party API solutions and AWS S3 buckets. DataArt is building a team of 3 data engineers with a part-time lead who will provide guidance and supervise the delivery process.
Opportunities for candidates:
- Solidify their knowledge of AWS
- Get sponsorship from DataArt for AWS certifications
- Team lead/architect opportunities in Cloud Data & Analytics and Machine Learning
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience working as Data Engineer
- Practical experience in Python
- Practical experience with MS SQL and SSIS
- Experience with AWS (creating Lambdas, working with S3 and Athena)
- Good critical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to work
- Good spoken English
Additional Competencies
- Practical experience with some of the following big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Hive/Glue, and/or DataBrew
- Experience with Big Data solutions
- Experience with AL/ML
- Experience with PySpark
