WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for handling data analysis opportunities provided by each service platform working directly with the Data Science team.

Accountabilities:

• The position will reside on the Climate & Agronomic Decision Sciences team within the global digital organization at Syngenta.
• Performing detailed analysis of data availability and corresponding ability/limitations to analytics.
• Work closely with the business team to understand the analytics usage of data.
• Promote a reusable data approach around different data stakeholders within Syngenta Group by actively seeking the collaboration across the business.
• Ensure all data generated from data sources is made available, in sustainable way, to be used in the projects that can add value.
• Manage the availability and quality of auxiliary agronomical data needed to develop and use digital solutions in a harmonized way.
• Create digital data sources by combining different data sources across Syngenta.
• Scout for new agronomic data sources outside Syngenta. Look for partnerships within and outside the agribusiness industry.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the area of enterprise business information, reporting & analytics.
• A farming background or knowledge of Agriculture practices and trialing process will be preferred.
• Previously experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Hands on with working experience on R and Python.
• Basic knowledge of various statistical techniques.
• Experience with business intelligence visualization tools such as QlikView or Tableau is preferred.
