The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Lead Data Engineer (Data Operations) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Lead a team of data experts in the delivery of quality data services in an agile environment
- Drive standards, design processes and uplift team technical capability to ensure the efficiency and assure the quality of data services
- Liaise and negotiate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in the development and sustainability of data and analytics
- Take responsibility for timely production of work outcomes using effective project, resource, and time management
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:- While not mandatory, experience with business intelligence products (i.e. Power Pivot, SSRS, Panorama Necto, Power BI, Qlik, Crystal Reports), an understanding of health data and Queensland Health information systems and a working knowledge of project management methodologies is highly regarded
- Experience and proficiency in the Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server suite of products including Integration Services, Management Studio and Transact SQL is mandatory
- Evidence of vaccination, and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $135 456 - $143 329 per annum
