- Liaison with multiple stakeholders to understand the business requirements, represent existing technology offerings and promote any efforts for greater technology enablement of the Treasury business functions.
- Lead, develop, and grow a high-performance, multi-function team of talented and passionate professionals who are results driven to take the business forward and demonstrate superior leadership in line with PayPal values.
- Support relationships with key stakeholders to deliver solutions and support, resolve issues, answer questions, obtain information, and provide documentation.
- Provide and support business solutions implementation by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
- Produce clear and impactful visualizations in support of complex cases.
- Provides recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues through data.
- Interpret data, analyze results, and support ongoing reports on Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Establish a consistent project management framework and development processes to deliver high-quality software, in rapid iterations, for business partners in multiple geographies.
- Interview and hire qualified developers, striving to improve bench strength and augmenting project teams with contract staff when required.
- Effectively lead teams by providing appropriate direction and developmental feedback, conducting annual reviews, and participating in compensation decisions.
- Establish a productive and collaborative team environment to continually foster a strong customer focus in all activities of the function.
- Expertise in Reporting technologies like Power BI, Watch, Looker.
- Exposure to finance ERP and treasury data architecture is an added advantage.
- Experience in the deployment of technology solutions in the Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent from a leading university, preferably with a Masters or MBA
- 8+ years of post-college working experience as a developer and architect in Reporting, Data Modelling, and Interface Engineering.
- Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills; ability to work with considerable ambiguity; ability to quickly learn new and complex concepts.
- A great communicator strong project management skills and superb attention to detail

- The Data Engineer - Ops Support is expected to create meaningful impact demonstrating:
- Experience in building Source to target mapping sheets in discussion with source SME's and businesses and working with data modelers and Data Engineers to build & validate the E2E data flow.
- Experience with automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
- Excellent communication skills and maintain a consistent record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to design & implement performant, scalable, resilient, reliable, and understandable data pipelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Deep expertise in modern data engineering approaches and awareness of leading technology trends.
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the business requirements and work with team members to support the product requirement mapping to the rest of the engineering track.

- Working in Cloud environments and have expertise in using object stores, and other common cloud-native data storage and processing frameworks.

- Collaborating with teams for problem-solving and resolving issues.
- 5+ years of experience in data mapping techniques.
- 3+ years of working with finance and treasury functions with expertise in translating functional requirements to technical specifications.
- 3+ years of strong experience Working with GCP, and its native cloud services will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Reporting technologies like Power BI, Watch, and Looker is an added advantage.
- Exposure to data from finance ERP or treasury applications such as Bloomberg, Clearwater, Quantum, FX, and other TMS is an added advantage.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent from a leading university, preferably with a Master’s degree.
- Cloud certifications (good to have)
