Together with the client, we build teams of specialists in areas such as frontend, backend, mobile development, CRM, or Real-Time Data Management.
As a Software Engineer in DWH, you will be working with versatile technologies and handle mass data in Oracle as well as in Big Data. In a Scrum team, you and your team will be responsible for driving the platform changes and bringing your ideas to improve our processes and tool landscape. We're not only dealing with data, but also heading towards Continuous Delivery and constantly improving and converging our systems to become a truly Global Data Warehouse by migrating our services into the public cloud.
Your role- Analyzing, understanding, and accompanying requirements from the first user story until go-live within an agile team
- Contributing to the design of the solution, executing the development of design, testing and documenting your implementation
- Taking end-to-end responsibility for the solution component
- Performing analyses in the Business Intelligence environment
- Supporting operations and taking responsibility for productive processes
- Doing code reviews
- 6+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer or similar position
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Experience with Exadata utilization
- Agile mindset and understanding of the DevOps approach
- Very good English skills
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Services
