For the Digital Lounge division at our headquarters in Brussels (near the train station and subway, see the map here ) we’re looking for an IT Data Analyst (m/f/x).

Fluxys is boosting its digital transformation and one of its initiatives involves setting up a Digital Lounge. Taking an innovative approach, the Digital Lounge makes digital products in the form of minimum viable products. The Digital Lounge brings together people from different backgrounds who are supported via agile and design thinking methodologies.

Your respon­sibilities

• You will be part of a team that quickly brings minimum viable products (MVP) to market or within our organisation. Under the leadership of the product owner, the team will be responsible for defining the problem and developing a relevant solution
• Agile and design thinking methodologies will be used to quickly move from an initial concept to a minimum viable product and pivot when needed
• You will be responsible for developing all data-related aspects for one or more minimum viable products in parallel
• You will work closely with Fluxys' Smart Data Factory team to source the data and to process it or to ensure that the additional data sources get integrated into the Smart Data Factory
• You will therefore work with the Smart Data Factory team to further develop this initiative (governance model, access rights, technology, data mining and structuring)

About you

• A master's degree in ICT and/or equivalent experience
• Experience in business intelligence/data analytics
• Experience with BI & data analytics concepts and tools such as:
• BI data modelling techniques (star schemas, snowflake schemas, etc.)
• Modern data warehouse and data lake concepts
• If you are less familiar with data analytics, we are also open to candidates with an analysis background that are eager to learn more on the data part. In the Digital Lounge team roles are applied fluently so we invite you to contribute wider than the data focus
• The necessary adaptability to work in ever-changing project groups
• An analytical, methodical and careful way of working
• Good communication skills and a real sense of team spirit
• Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
