Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst Location: London, UK Salary: Competitive My client are a leading retailer in the FTSE 250, looking for a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in providing data-driven insights that drive business growth and improve customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and finance to analyze and interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations. Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate data insights to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and finance to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate data solutions. Develop and implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data integrity across all systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of their data systems.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in the retail industry. Strong programming skills in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with statistical analysis and modeling, and proficiency with R or Python. Strong understanding of data quality and governance principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud. Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
