Job Summary

The position is responsible for organizing, preparing and analyzing financial and clinical information for improved business intelligence. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis assistance to our healthcare organizations key decision makers. The Pharmacy Financial Data Analyst assist in overseeing pharmacy business, fiscal management, purchasing compliance, and inventory control functions of the systems pharmacies and subsidiaries. Assists in defining the department’s mission, planning and goal setting, budget preparation and adherence, and performance standards in order to assist in leading the department to the achievement of excellence in fiscal management, compliance and pharmacy practice.

Job Requirements

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare/Science/Business

Experience

Required: 1 year experience with healthcare financial analysis

Skills

Systematic problem solving skills and communication skills

PC skills, including ability to quickly learn new software applications

Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application is in process and full registration obtained within 30 days of hire
