Responsibilities

This is a hybrid position which will require some in-office work each week, but is primarily work from home.

Primarily responsible for analyzing spend and contracting data to provide insight to Sourcing, Contracting & Implementation teams on savings initiatives, contracting opportunities and operational initiatives. Provides data and analyses to support requests received. Works with analysts in other functional areas to connect analysis and ensure consistency in measurement, reporting, and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops analytic models to provide insight to supply chain contracting, savings opportunities and strategy development
  • Supports Sourcing, Contracting & Implementation Teams reporting to support and improve contract compliance
  • Develops front-end analysis to help frame contracting strategy for key stakeholders
  • Develops, maintains, and manages key performance indicators for contract categories
  • Connect with analysts from other functions to collaborate on analytic standards
  • Supports system level initiatives to drive sustainable improvement in SSRM performance
  • Develops, maintains, and manages key performance indicators for operational performance
  • Works closely with analysts and stakeholders in other CHI business functions to develop an analyst community, eliminating information gaps across functional areas


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field from four year college or university is required
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience and data experience preferred OR, Demonstrated analytical experience required
  • Progressive experience in project management preferred.
  • Able to function independently, adapt quickly to changing environments and open to new ideas
  • Capable of maintaining an independent perspective without losing collaborative nature, trust and respect
  • Knowledge of advanced analytic tools and software
  • Knowledge of databases and ability to extract, combine, and organize large data sets
  • Superior analytical abilities, particularly in strategic business and financial analysis
  • Ability to prepare quick pointed summaries for stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
  • Knowledge of relevant analytical and statistical software
  • Capability to translate the technical aspects of quality to what it means for the business, both top and bottom line
  • Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts related to financial cost analysis.
  • Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be proficient with Word or Google Docs, Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint or Google Slides and Outlook or Google Calendar


Pay Range

$29.89 - $43.34 /hour
