Data Scientists at TV4 Media

C More, Telia Play, and TV4 Play are three of the largest streaming services on the Swedish market. Our data team is expanding and now we look for an experienced Data Scientist with the ambition to bring the best online video experience possible to our customers.

The Data team consists of Data Engineers and Data Scientists that work together daily. We are responsible for serving the organization with data through data collection and enrichment for C More, TV4, and Telia play.

As a Data Scientist in the Data team, you play a vital role in driving our products forward. Your objective is to develop and deploy models using machine learning and statistics to solve problems across the whole organization.

Historically, our focus has been on the customers’ behaviour to build features that help them find relevant content. In addition to user behaviour, you will also contribute to areas like Anomaly detection, Inventory prediction, Churn prediction, Search, etc. for various business units of C More, TV4, and Telia Play.

What you will do:

• Work closely with fellow Data Scientists, Data Engineers and User Researchers to build a better understanding of how our users can help us improve the product.
• Analyse vast amounts of streaming-data and communicate findings and Proofs-of-Concept clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Work on end-to-end projects that involve model development. This includes everything from scoping problems, data collection, and feature engineering to training, validating, deploying, and production monitoring of state-of-the-art models.
• Work in an agile environment, develop solutions using version control and deploy models on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work from our office near Gärdet in Stockholm, of course with the option to work from home.

Is this you?

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent quantitative field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and experience with popular machine/deep learning packages (e.g. scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow).
• You have experience in tuning, optimizing performance and execution of models.
• Experience of building and deploying ML models.
• Worked with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS and/or Azure.
• Great communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
