Senior Data Analyst/Data Steward

We are now looking for a Senior Data Analyst/Data Steward to join Product and Process Data and Analytics Office in the LC&FI Data &Analytics Office.

About The Job

LC&FI Data & Analytics Office is a department within LC&FI CIO with the mission to drive the dialogue with the SEB Group CDO, Analytics and IT teams and supporting and leveraging new capabilities within the bank, such as cloud technology, data lake infrastructure, data management & analytics toolkit, KPIs & KRIs as well as regulatory driven initiatives.

Product and Process Data and Analytics Office is the department with mission to leverage the value in data, to design clear approach for process governance, and solutions for efficiently managing data as well as for building and strengthening business capabilities to work with data. We are looking for new team members with hands-on skills and the eagerness to lead by example in making sure sound data and process management becomes an integral part of our daily lives.

Currently we are working on building foundation of Sustainability and Corporate Lending processes and data but will be working our way towards other data within the division and increase capabilities within analytics to create insights and inspire others.

As a Data Analyst /Data Steward within LC&FI your primary responsibility will be to ensure access to high quality data to generate value for the business and its customers. As such, you will be managing core business data to improve its value through quality and accessibility. Working closely with stakeholders from all parts of SEB to ensure data quality is an important part of processes, products, and mindsets.

Responsibilities

• Define Product and Process Data, visualisation, and integration of process data to create insights for process improvements,
• Provide insights on process efficiency through data analytics,
• Assist projects in gathering large information and structure data to draw conclusions,
• Involvement in the whole value chain from creation, management, and consumption of data,
• Serve as an ambassador to inspire and facilitate the use of high-quality data.

Requirements

• Experience in working with large amounts of data within SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel and or any other tool or language
• Data modelling experience or willingness to learn.
• Preferably previous experience in financial sector or banking with Data analyst, reporting specialists, solution architect experience.
• Ability to transform complex questions into understandable activities and insights
• Knowledge of Data management and the benefits of digitalization
• Knowledge of business development process and way of working
• Knowledge of financial sector will be advantage
• Interest in Financial Sector
• Ability to work with both IT and business and bridging the gap between them
• Strong personal drive and experience in leading change
• Excellent collaboration behavior with willingness to share, educate and grow the awareness of the importance to have sound Data Governance within the organization.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
