At Atlas Copco compressors, big data is a growing branch that we will continue to focus on in the coming years. Our connectivity journey started over ten years ago, and today, an industry-leading connected base allows us to collect relevant data about machines installed throughout the globe. This data is used in key sales, operational processes and of course also for the end-user.
Come and join our multi-disciplinary IoT-team if you enjoy managing data and want to support the business in providing more, new and better insights. As an IoT/Big Data Engineer, you're responsible for setting up the data pipelines between our SmartLink connectivity platform and external data platforms within the organization. You will also be involved in the further development of the Smartlink connectivity platform.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership and shows initiative, who is result-oriented and committed to delivery. Someone who works in a structured way and documents results, resolves all identified errors, conflicts and bugs and tracks/reports the bug or defect resolution.
Affinity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
Good understanding of coding languages like Python and Spark SQL
Big data technologies (Spark , Databricks, ETL,…) and structured datasets and databases attract you
Knowledge of cloud warehousing (Azure Blob, datalake,…)
Team player who likes open communication and is eager to learn
