Experian are pleased to announce an exciting new career opportunity for an Insights Analyst, an integral role within our Global Strategic Pricing team. The team is dedicated to developing and executing on world class pricing strategies to maximise value for our clients and Experian. We deliver process excellence and increased customer satisfaction through the creation of innovative pricing strategies, the roll out of the global pricing tools and the use of analytics to positively influence continuous improvement in pricing capability.


What’s interesting about this role?

This role will lead analytical work streams to deliver insights which influence recommendations during the evaluation phase of varied roadmap projects. Following project completion, the role holder will lead the presentation of rich analytical stories to cross discipline Business Stakeholders to drive actions and ongoing enhancements in our reporting, working in partnership with the offshore analytics team.

This is a great role for someone who is inquisitive and action focussed and who has experience in using extensive analytical skills to work through complexity and unstructured data. This is a truly global role for someone who is looking to raise their profile across global regions whilst using their technical skill to provide invaluable analytical insight to the business.


What you'll be tasked with:

  • Utilise existing and, sometimes fragmented, data sets to provide analysis to understand and explain price dispersion, working closely with business stakeholders
  • Providing analysis to understand and explain price dispersion, working closely with business stakeholders
  • Building price models to understand segmentation and to set prices
  • Contribute to the development of tools and capabilities to support value-based pricing (eg ROI models, Artificial Intelligence)
  • Creating “Client Action Plans” which seek to uplift revenue for clients below the floor price, partnering with sales teams
  • Agreeing and developing a method for tracking project benefits post delivery
  • Contributing to the pricing capability evaluation providing insight into current pricing processes
  • Lead Pricing Insights review sessions with Regional Business Unit leads
  • Shape the design of the Tableau Data Prep processes, Tableau Server deployment and Reporting Templates


Qualifications

We're ideally looking for someone with the following attributes;

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent standard, with a high mathematical content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics

Experience

  • An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems.
  • Good Data Visualisation experience (Tableau preferred)
  • Demonstrated Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of the use and application of analytical methodologies.
  • Understanding of the modelling development process.
  • Knowledge of machine learning
  • Effective project planning and time management skills
  • Pricing experience preferred, but not essential
