What You'll Do
Create infrastructure for internal and external data management and provide support model
Support overall division by reducing burden of collection, curation, and collation of data
Develop means to track and visualize metrics (financial, resource, project, etc.)
Support modernization/automation of data initiatives
Integrate IT support by ‘translating’ IT-to-business
Develop systems integration and information management tools
Serve as a key resource for shared learning, process improvement, and identification and incorporation of standard methodologies into future iterations of processes, tools, training, or guidance
Proactively identify and bring forth areas for continual process improvement to teams and functions
Always keep safety as the top priority, engaging and leading a proactive safety culture
What You'll Need
B.S. or M.S. in Informatics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related scientific area
Have a strong attention to detail, enjoy problem solving and be able to handle several projects simultaneously
Experience developing software in any of the following: Java, C#, .NET
Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, Postgres, etc.
Experience with workflow and data visualization software such as KNIME, Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire
Experience and knowledge of systems and integration between infrastructure technologies and applications
Ability to work with best software practices/methods such as Agile and CI/CD (a plus)
Experience with chemistry related software such as ChemStation, MassHunter, Masslynx/OpenLynx, TopSpin (a plus)
Demonstrate excellent teammate skills, very strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving and organization skills, a high level of learning agility, the ability to work across functions and within a global organization, and the ability to perform in a flexible workforce.
