This is a hands-on delivery role, where you'll be implementing solutions for our customers.
As a Senior Data Consultant at Telstra Purple, you'll be:
- Solving various data and analytics problems and navigating through their difficult and unique technical aspects
- Refining requirements for a technical solution by analysing client's data, systems, business, and teams/people
- Working with an interdisciplinary team of experts who assist our customers in utilising their data and building practical and performant solutions
- Pursuing opportunities to develop your skills and capabilities on engagements and in your professional development
About you:
- Sydney-based or in the process of already relocating to Sydney
- Practical experience with multiple Azure Data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse or Databricks
- Experience in some of the following: AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, CDK, RDS - MySQL/SQL, S3), Docker, Jira for work item management
- Experience designing and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power BI
- End-to-end analytics from source, analysing, modelling, visualising to insight generation
- Designed and developed data warehouses and data analytics solution across variety of domains
- You're a great communicator; you're either are currently interacting with stakeholders and customers, or in a consulting role
