In the framework of the Central Manufacturing Engineering of Faurecia Interior System Business Group (FIS), the Data Scientist will develop statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms and models for Faurecia Interiors Systems (FIS):
Managing structured and unstructured data from different sources.
Mapping interesting data sources to identify future application fields
Analyze data collected to extract value
Conduct studies on the data used to identify new benefits and test them.
Build an academic network to support FIS on topics of R&D
Coordinate with specialists and experts who develop the systems and applications within FIS.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be :
Minimum education level: Bachelor Degree, supplemented by training in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with strong background in quantitative science.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as Data Analyst
Skills and competencies:
Operating tools for high data volumes: Hadoop, SPARK, MapReduce, SQL, NoSQL.
Programming languages: Al least one of Python/Scala/R. Knowing Matlab, C ++ and JAVA is a plus.
Good capacity to work in a matrix organization
Autonomous and rigor in the work
Team work spirit is essential
Fluent in English is mandatory (frequent travels abroad)
