Job Overview:


GaN is seeking a Data Analyst to support Army aircraft test and analysis. The primary duty of this position is to work within an acquisition program office, providing data analysis from test events to support decision makers. The Data Analyst will support test events across the country, working with test teams to analyze data as soon as it is collected. Between tests, the Data Analyst will work with multiple data sets collected over time to detect trends and compare results from different system versions. The applicant should have experience with Army Aviation and sensor systems. Ideally, the candidate has experience with missile warning and other Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze test data, turning data into information resulting in knowledge
  • Modify, manage, and develop new analysis tools
  • Support the development of test reports
  • Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making that affect soldier safety
  • Travel with test teams to support testing across the country
Qualifications:

Requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s in engineering, Math, Physics, or related technical field
  • Minimum of five (5) years data analysis experience
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
  • Dedicated to customer service, quality, and team building
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently
  • Fluent in MATLAB or related analysis tools


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Aircraft Survivability Equipment


Special Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Significant travel required
  • Must possess an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret
