The HR Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is a centralized global team responsible for all aspects of data strategy, governance, reporting and analytics for workforce data. A data analyst position is being created to support efforts toward maintaining HR reference/master data products. A successful candidate should possess a strong ability to understand business and technical functions, process information quickly and assess impacts, and collaborate well with partners across multiple organizations. A major portion of the work will involve providing support for data content owners and data users, and supporting maintenance efforts of the HR reference/master data products.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Management / Workforce Reporting Hierarchies:

  • Accountable to work with stakeholders on obtaining scope for new product features
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure delivery of accurate and sufficient business requirements
  • Collaborate with team to define, track and present KPIs/metrics to stakeholders/senior management
  • Support operational processes for the HR reference/master data product
  • Partner with data content owners to ensure the timely update of their data publication
  • Perform quality oversight of the data content to catch potential issues or changes
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and coordinate the resolution with stakeholders
  • Proven analytical experience with the ability to develop, analyze, and report
  • Partner closely with Workforce Technology, Firmwide Data Office, and other reference data teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in business or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis, data management, data modeling, and/or data architecture. Ability to successfully design, deploy and evolve solutions to meet business requirements.
  • 3 years data acumen experience in data usage, process analysis, process improvement, business analysis or data sciences, and analysis and mapping (able to query data, analyze and map)
  • Knowledge of report/analytics and execution using SQL or other recognized data analysis tools, along with data mining capabilities

Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Business Objects, and MS Excel

  • Business Analysis experience and knowledge of Agile and/or SDLC processes
  • Analytical ability is core to interpreting various pieces of input by colleagues, building requirements, and partnering to solve business problems
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong communication (Verbal/Written/Listening/Presentation); Team player and collaborative mindset toward technology and business partners
  • Consultative skills to discuss all matters data tied to reference data, reporting, data analytics, and quality
  • Produce ideas/suggestions for change/improvement and go above and beyond to execute
  • Past experience researching items and solving problems as they arise
  • Highly organized to keep up with evolving environment
  • Ability to manage cross team relationships
