For a temp to perm position at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Data Scientist / Engineer - Marketing & Sales Analytics

In this exciting role, you will be working on a temporary basis for 3 months and then you will be internalised into a permanent role with our client.

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in data science with an MS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Mining or another quantitative field
• Very good knowhow in defining, building and operationalizing machine learning and deep learning models
• Well-versed in working with large data sets and analyzing data to identify patterns and transforming data for several purposes
• Good knowledge in designing dashboards, reports, scorecards as per user requirements
• Expertise operating data warehouse and Big Data Lakes environments
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Tableau
• Mix of very good technical expertise and strong business skills are a plus
• Fluency in English (oral/written)

Your Responsibilities:

• Data gathering and transformation to provide inputs for dashboards, advanced analytics models, and marketing automation tools
• Defining, building, and operationalizin advanced analytics models for marketing and sales purposes (segmentation, propensity models: cross-sell, up-sell, churn prevention, etc, and next best action/offer recommender)
• Ad hoc reports and automatically updated dashboards that provide actionable insights with marketing and sales as the focus
• As a member of the team, you will collaborate closely with other data scientists and data engineers to deliver a number of data projects
