Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Job Description

The Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer is responsible delivering complex solutions for small, medium, and large organizations of various industries.

Responsibilities

• Work along-side customers to delivery BQ migrations leveraging best-in-breed third-party tooling
• Design and build GCP data driven solutions for enterprise data warehouse and data lakes
• Evaluate client business challenges and work with the team to ensure at the best technology solutions
• Collaborate with clients to decipher business requirements into technical requirements and deliverables
• Support existing GCP Data Management implementations

Qualifications and Skills

• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
• Proven history of designing and delivering data lake and data warehousing solutions
• Experience with data integration and migration projects; ETL/data integration tools
• Proficient in at least one of the SQL languages, such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience working with cloud solutions
• Experience with at least one of the following Visualization Tools (Oracle OBIEE, OAC, Looker, PowerBI, Microstrategy, or Tableau)
• Business Analysis skills
• Willingness to get GCP Certifications Required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years working directly with the GCP stack including BiqQuery, Composer, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions
• Experienced in migrating legacy systems into GCP technologies
• B.S. in Information Technology, Business or related fields
