Exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the EMEA AR Team of a global pharmaceutical company as an Accounts Receivable Data Analyst. Working from their Finance Shared Service Centre based in South Dublin you will be responsible for keeping the senior leadership team up to date at all times on processes through the provision insightful reports and analytics on the Accounts Receivable team performance.

  • Salary: €60,000 - €70,000
  • Based in South Dublin
  • 12-month contract initially (with a strong view to permanent)

  • Flexible starting times (can start anytime between 7-9:30am and finish between 3:30-6pm based on your start time)

As a trusted Business Partner to internal stakeholders and divisions, the ideal candidate will excel in translating data from various sources into strategic business insights. The Accounts Receivable Data Analyst will be responsible for business unit reporting across the EMEA AR portfolio, assessing the suitability and frequency of management reports and KPIs. This role involves training the team to provide meaningful business narratives, in collaboration with the manager responsible for reporting and analytics. The candidate will ensure AR tower reports reflect standardized performance metrics such as DSO, past due analysis, cash forecasting, and bad debt reserve. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, leveraging Business Analytics opportunities. Additionally, the role involves developing training programs to ensure AR end users understand the end-to-end AR process and its impact on downstream processes and suppliers.

Job Requirements

  • Lead and enhance AR business analytics reporting for clear communication and alignment with Business and Hub needs.
  • Act as a PowerBI super user, ensuring data accuracy and completeness while collaborating with external partners to enhance reporting.
  • Ensure reports are delivered punctually with high-quality narratives and strategic insights.
  • Support ongoing standardization of Business Unit and Divisional reporting through GPO data analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the AR Director and AR Managers to ensure reporting aligns with the EMEA CFS Hub's customer experience strategy.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the wider AR team to maximize potential and meet key responsibilities.
  • Identify and share potential continuous improvement opportunities and insights from business analytics information.
  • Report on internal KPIs for the team, highlighting risk areas to management.
  • Communicate effectively with Business Units, stakeholders, and business partners regarding key performance indicators and initiatives.
  • Develop end-user training materials, including high-level process documentation, user guides, and job aids, to supplement existing system training guides.
  • Consider necessary change management for in-scope sites to maximize the impact and success of training delivery.
  • Collaborate with RTR colleagues for assigned Month End close responsibilities.
  • Ensure Data Transformation Processes (DTPs) are regularly completed, reviewed, and updated.

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Multinational/Shared Service experience is essential
  • Excellent Excel and Power BI skills are a must
  • Experienced working with database management
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present results to Senior Management Teams
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar analytical position
