Data Engineer (ETL / Talend development)

Job Description:

• Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency and metadata
• Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions
• Deployment of data pipelines/ETL and Testing in UAT/Production Environment.

Role Requirement:

• 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in ETL, data modeling, data pipeline and transformation logics
• Must have experience in data validation using SQL or Spark
• Bachelor / Masters or equivalent degree in any engineering or technical / quantitative field.
• Preferable experience with any of the ETL tools (Talend / Informatica) and data marts in Azure Data Lake (Good to have)

Technical Expertise:

• Expertise in SQL
• Data Structures / algorithms
• Spark (preferable, not mandatory)
• Talend (preferable)
