We are now looking for a Data Scientist to review, analyze and report the Financial Progress and deliver meaningful advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance of the organizational unit.

What you will do

  • Responsible for developing scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract knowledge or insights to drive the future of applied analytics.
  • Provide thought leadership, perform Advanced Statistical Analytics, and build insights into data to provide to the business meaningful insights, identify trends, and measure performance which address business problems.
  • Collaborate with business and process owners to understand business issues, and with Financial analysts to implement and deploy scalable solutions, where applicable.
  • Drive adherence to Financial Governance and financial planning (including forecast process)
  • Secure business performance in period end closing
  • Innovate and drive reporting and analytics solutions

You will bring

  • A degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience performing the duties of a Data Scientist
  • The latest technology landscape; Programming languages i.e. R, Python; Distributed computing paradigms such as different distributions of Hadoop, Spark; High performance computing paradigms.
  • Business Analytics and Financial modeling knowledge
  • Adaptability & Organizational change
