Product Development and Supply (PDS) is a highly experienced Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) organization accountable for delivering robust, cost effective and competitive products and manufacturing processes spanning the full life cycle of asset development from Discovery through Commercialization. These activities are delivered through state-of-the-art internal facilities as well as strategic external partners. Collectively, the team is accountable for CMC activities encompassing many aspects of small molecule and large molecule development through regulatory filing and support in manufacturing. We also pioneer innovative technologies to improve robustness, reduce cost of goods, and improve the patient experience.

As a data Investigator in Analytical Platforms and Platform Modernization, you will be a member of a highly skilled team of scientists responsible for the exploration, evaluation, and implementation of state-of-the art technologies to support pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing workflows. You will work in cross-functional teams to maintain and improve global data standards ensuring standard innovation, compliance and strategic alignment for data from scientific workflows.

This role ensures data standards, data management, data usability, and data visualization are of top industry and scientific quality.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will cover the following:

  • Work in cross-functional teams and working groups to manage and improve the global data standards used across PDS scientific workflows.
  • Work in cross-functional teams and working groups to define, manage, and improve the global data visualization tools used across PDS scientific workflows.
  • Work in cross-functional teams and working groups to define, manage, and improve data flows used across PDS scientific workflows.
  • Ensure strategic alignment acting as a primary point of contact for data standards within the PDS organization.
  • Work as an analytical representative across analytical groups to ensure harmonization of data collection and retention. –
  • Act as a member of the Data Standards related teams in PDS
  • Contribute to data and metadata standards governance process such as SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
  • May liaise with technique SMEs to understand data workflows and implement new data processes and training –

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University Degree - Master’s or equivalent experience in Pharmaceutics, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Sciences or related scientific discipline with 5-7 years of similar experience
  • Experience required to deliver the implementation, update and enforcement of data standards in-line with current expectations
  • Experience required to challenge and improve the processes around data standards.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, ability to facilitate interfaces within extended network, proven experience in negotiating and influencing at different levels of the organization in a matrix environment.
  • Experienced in leading improvement initiatives from inception through to completion involving both multi-disciplinary and geographically remote partners.
  • Strong matrix leadership skills.
  • Experienced in Data Management.
  • Experienced in Data Visualization
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good understanding of regulations including ICH, and Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

  • Basic understanding of computer coding
  • Ability to apply knowledge to manage complex processes and systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Attention to detail, conscientious and accurate.
  • Good organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good analytical skills with understanding of common analytical techniques
