AUTOMOTIVE_MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER

The Data Scientist who will join the Telematics team of our Client in order to evaluate the health status and predicting the breakdowns of different components of engines.




The task:




_To exploit statistical methodologies for validation of the Machine Learning algorithms developed

by Telematics team

_ To develop and implement methods for effective visualization of both signal data sent by vehicles

and outputs of the Machine Learning algorithms

_ To effectively communicate with engine component experts from other company departments, in

order to collect their feedbacks and implement them in the fine tuning and improvement of the

Machine Learning algorithms.



The skills:

_ Master Degree with a strong content of Statistics and preferably also Machine Learning.

_ Having a multidisciplinary approach: a Data Scientist must not only apply statistical methods,

but also communicate with field experts

_ Excellent knowledge of the principles behind statistical methodologies such as regression,

classification, clustering, feature extraction, dimension reduction (such as Principal

Component Analysis and Factor Analysis), resampling, etc.

_ Knowledge of the principles behind Machine Learning methods

_At least 1 year of experience in the application of statistical methods

_Good programming skills, with experience in at least one of the following languages: Python,

Matlab, R, C/C++

_Fluency English language, both verbally and in writing.
