Data Analyst will provide data analysis support to the department by validating and analyzing data.

What you'll do:
- Provides data analysis support to the department by validating and analyzing data ; cross-referencing and checking data points; conducting trend analyses; categorizing data based on trends ; determining data correlations; interpreting trends to identify root causes and relationships to current initiatives; reviewing results with key stakeholders and identifying solutions; making recommendations to departmental management regarding data insights; and conducting modeling to determine potential impact, risks, and escalation points related to security concerns.
- Participates in large data analytics project teams by serving as a technical manager for analytics projects; working with project teams and business partners to determine project goals; developing contingency plans for data analysis; determining modeling based on business needs ; directing the analysis of data; gathering data and developing reports as needed; utilizing business knowledge to ensure data supports project goals; analyzing databased on identified variables ; reviewing data results to ensure accuracy; and communicating results and insights to the project team and business partners.
- Helps develop business intelligence solutions with customers and other system areas by ensuring solution testing and validation; managing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products; managing production of scheduled regulatory reports; ensuring requirements are met to support implementations ; managing the compliance reporting database to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data; ensuring development of system documentation ; developing materials for state of the art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions; and reviewing change implementation before and after production installations.
- Analyzes data for systems projects and provides insights by identifying and leveraging relevant data sets; analyzing and interpreting data, policies, and trends ; maintaining system integrity and performance; identifying trends and opportunities to improve departmental processes and systems and providing recommendations on solutions; reviewing past projects and existing systems to ensure redundancies are eliminated; designing and conducting system requirement reviews; and presenting recommendations to cross functional business partners .
- Maintains information systems by reviewing interacting compliance data systems to ensure proper functioning; diagnosing business risks ; resolving problems with data systems; and enhancing compliance information systems.
