Senior Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer Consultant at TMC, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing data infrastructure and solutions both on-premise and in the cloud (AWS).

About This Vacancy

• Create and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support both on-premise and AWS environments.
• Integrate diverse data sources, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and accessibility.
• Optimize database performance and scalability, leveraging best practices for both on-premise and cloud-based systems.
• Work closely with client stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Implement data security and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows.
  
  

What We Expect From You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with proven expertise in both on-premise and AWS environments.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Lambda).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
