What you’ll do

You will play a senior role in the software engineering team that will develop, configure, document, and maintain data platforms. You will help scale data capabilities for ingestion and transformation with big data volumes and at real-time speed.

Reporting to the Platform Lead, you will contribute to all phases of development program for the platform and work in a centre of excellence to add value to the quality of data consumed by Tabcorp, ensuring data and intelligence is of the highest quality on a global scale

What you’ll bring

• Experience with ETL Development in Talend
• Script and build technologies (Bash, Python, Scala)
• Extensive experience in data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL optimisation, testing and implementation
• Experience implementing large scale data loading, manipulation, processing and exploration using a range of AWS based technologies such as Spark, Kinesis, Athena, RedShift, Postgres
• Very strong understanding of AWS database offerings with hands-on experience deploying database infrastructure in AWS
