As a Data Analyst, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance, and maintain business intelligence tools that will have an impact on business decisions. Primary Responsibilities of a Data Analyst:

  • Working with SQL to design, build & maintain relational data models (Kimball Modeling)
  • Working with SQL to design, build & maintain ETL & associated Stored Procedures
  • Apply Data Quality techniques to clean data, monitor quality & performance
  • Schedule data refreshes and monitor for quality & performance
  • Analyze and transform reporting requirements into workable data model solutions

Required Qualifications of a Data Analyst:

  • A minimum of 2 year’s proven experience working with a Relational Database Management System such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries including ETL scripts and associated Stored Procedures
  • High proficiency in Excel for ad hoc data analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including provision of technical specification documentation, e.g., presenting a data model to the report team or building a data dictionary.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams & OneNote

Preferred Qualifications of a Data Analyst:

  • Experience with Cloud Data Platforms such as Snowflake and orchestration tools such as Databricks or Azure Data Factory
  • Working knowledge of a market-leading Data Discovery tool such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team as a team member involved in Agile ceremonies
  • Experience working in complex data architecture environments
  • Experienced working in a large global and virtual corporate environment, in particular working closely with stakeholder teams in the USA
