Our Great Opportunity:

We are now looking for a Sourcing Data Engineer to analyze, visualize, and model the data in our various systems used in the Global Sourcing organization. This includes end to end supply chain responsibility from source to pay across the 180 countries Ericsson operates across.

On this position in the S2A Reporting and Analytics team, it will be expected to:

• Perform Analytics of provided data sets
• Feature engineering
• Build visualizations using Tableau
• Build models and tune parameters
• Deploy models on defined Big Data infrastructure
• Build proof of concepts using analytics and demonstrate them
• Write automation scripts using python and SQL
• Develop minimal viable solutions using automation scripts
• Test data preparation and provide inputs for improvement
• Design and build data structures for Master Data adhering to established maturity model levels

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields; and/or relevant proven experience in analytics solution design and development activity
• SQL & Python programming experience of 3+ years
• Applied Big Data & Analytics experience; preferably 3+ years
• Familiarity with AWS, S3, and Hadoop platforms

• Sourcing or procurement experience
• Taken courses on data analytics and Master Data
• Ability to think analytically
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Able to work independently and with a defined framework of responsibilities
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of information
• Optimally engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously
