Teraki is a Berlin-based technology company enabling future mobility. We stand for innovation in the rapidly developing field of connected and autonomous vehicles. Teraki provides software solutions for automotive, robotics, and drone applications (IoT). We help our customers with challenges posed by the exploding amounts of data that are collected with multi-sensor systems that include IMU, camera, radar, and LiDAR sensors.
To expand our team, we are looking for a data scientist to join the R&D division that develops sensor fusion solution for the autonomous driving application.
Your responsibilities:
- Join the research and development team, and contribute to the development and optimization of the current software
- Design and develop complex algorithms and functions for sensor fusion applications
- Develop new applications based on concrete automotive customer specifications and integrate these into Teraki’s main product line
- Preform benchmark tests and evaluate the performance and capabilities of the developed algorithms and codes
- Help to deploy the code into the core product by working in close collaboration with our software developers and data scientists
What we are looking for:
- Master or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Demonstrate professional/research experience in image/signal processing, numerical optimization, or computer vision
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks (sklearn, PyCharm or TensorFlow) and good understanding of algorithms
- Strong programming skills in Python. C/C++ knowledge would be an advantage
- Fluent in English
