Assistant Data Scientist

To work with the Data Scientists and the broader department, leveraging advanced analytics, statistical techniques, and machine learning to develop and deliver data science products which enhance policing productivity, effectiveness and contribute to public safety.

To produce high quality work which allows us to understand levels of demand and derive insights from our data, communicating technical results clearly to a non-technical audience and contributing to informed, evidence-based decision-making.

To assist in building data pipelines and the discovery, evaluation and transforming of a range of datasets for analytical use.
