What you will do!
In collaboration with other analysts, manage the development and implementation of Oregon’s Health Care Workforce (“workforce”) database as well as analyze data from this database and other datasets as applicable. In collaboration with other staff within HPA, work with Health Professional Shortage Area data submitted to the federal government. Analyze data related to the behavioral health workforce from the workforce database as well as other sources in support of programs to expand and diversify the behavioral health workforce in support of OHA’s new Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative. Establish and refine procedures to assure the quality of data and validity of results. Manage work with contracted vendors or consultants as needed to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Summarize and report on statewide and regional trends of mental and physical health care access, capacity, cost and quality using a variety of methods including surveys, focus groups and secondary data sources.

This position falls under the Research Analyst 3 classification.
This is a full-time, permanent position that is represented by SEIU.
Most of this work may be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, there are times that the work may need to be conducted at the primary work location listed in this announcement, the Five Oak building located at 421 SW Oak Street, Portland, OR. Work location can be changed at any time at the discretion of the manager.
