Data Engineer (GCP), Telemedicine Technology Solutions
Position Overview
DataArt is assembling a team for an incipient project with a modern stack and microservices architecture. We are looking to architect and build a complex platform to support multiple telehealth solutions. This is a unique situation when modernization is practically a green field with an opportunity to design things right.
The project is within the telemedicine industry. A comprehensive digital solution developed by the technicians enables new models of patient care. The basic principle of operation is patient-doctor communication via secure video channels. The project provides emergency teleconferencing assistance to patients in more than 40 states and more than 5 million patients. Data flows from 5+ different sources and in specific medical formats (but not only).
The specialist we are looking for will join the distributed team of 40+ people working from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, and the USA. Your team will consist of 4+ Data Software Engineers, 1 Data QA Software Engineer, Architect, Dev-manager.
Technology Stack & Infrastructure: Python, Java, SQL, GCP (Cloud Storage, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery), Looker, Terraform, Gitlab, Prometheus
ABOUT DATAARTResponsibilities
- Develop and support data analytics platforms used internally by different healthcare facilities
- Adopt new features of the serverless data lake framework and expand the existing ones based on cutting-edge technologies using GCP
- Extend and support the ETL ingestion pipelines implemented with Informatica.
- Develop and support core data analytics platform (Python)
- Develop and support client-facing interfaces (Python)
- Collaborate with multiple teams
- Understand the overall enterprise Data Architecture and deliver a Next Gen Data Warehouse
- Work on the design of the new components of the solution
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the general principles of Big Data
- Knowledge of Java or Python
- Experience working with distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL, Streaming
- Hands on experience with GCP or other cloud providers
- Expertise in Big Data solutions
