Responsibilities:
- Oversees and or assists with creating complex queries, complex technical programming, and complex applications.
- Interact with business and technologies peers Interpret business data and data access requirements.
- Provide appropriate estimates on development tasks and capacity requirements Complete source to target mappings.
- Make use of Amazon Web Services to delivery services.
- Develop, code, test, and implement data solutions according to business requirements.
- Perform related SDLC engineering activities like sprint planning and estimation.
- Work effectively in small agile teams.
- Provide creative solutions to problems.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and execute.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of proven professional experience working in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Extensive knowledge in SQL coding. Proven work experience in ETL.
- Degree in Computer Science or related domains.
- AWS experience is required - EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS Glue, Kinesis and Redshift, etc.
- Ability to analyze a company’s big-picture data needs.
- Experience with one or more programming languages like Scala, Python, and/or Java.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
- Create data models that illustrate relationships between tables and other database objects.
- Create and document constraints that ensure integrity of data.
- Create queries that are efficient with an emphasis on performance.
- Ability to push the frontier of technology and independently pursue better alternatives.
