We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented
Data Analyst for Finance (f/m/d). The position is based in our Frankfurt or Munich office and will report to the Head of Management Reporting – Change.
In this role you will be responsible to shape with us the future financial Sales Reporting, redesign processes and the data model using Sales Reporting data (Assets under Management, Net Cash Flows and related Revenues for AllianzGI globally).
What You Will Do
- Design new or improve existing reports, dashboards and analytical models (with a particular focus on PowerBI) in response to client demands or to proactively share valuable insights
- Train team members on new reporting and being the go-to person for their questions/requirements
- Ensure that future “reporting” is delivered in the time and quality to all relevant partners
- Understand various data sources and processes behind the numbers and help optimize relevant processes to improve quality, usefulness and clarity of information and redesign processes where needed
- Design, implement and conduct new processes
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Natural Science is a plus
- Relevant professional experience are required including hands-on experience specifically in developing advanced reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI and PowerPoint
- Outstanding knowledge and proficiency with data modelling using PowerBI, Excel, SAP BI/AFO and SQL
- Passion for data, reporting and analysis with strong ability to hypothesize, validate, summarize, and present observations and insights
- Phyton knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on mentality to get the things done
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and ability to easily communicate sophisticated ideas
- Proficiency in English is required (native or full professional level), proficiency in German is a plus
- Experience in Asset Management or Finance Services is helpful
