The job


In the role as Customer Program Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing customer data and program performance to help drive strategic decision-making and optimize our customer programs.


We are looking for an analytical and business-minded colleague to be part of developing our customer programs: Bilka Plus, føtex Plus, Netto+, Scan&Go and ClubSalling.


You will be part of a young and well-functioning team, who is responsible for delivering loyalty data insights and executing strategic projects to solve complex problems and driving the loyalty agenda for Salling Group.


As a Data Analyst you will play a key role in operating and developing our reporting and campaign management setup in cooperation with our Business Support and Commercial departments as well as our formats Bilka, føtex, Netto, and Salling.


Primary Tasks And Responsibilities


  • Conducting data analysis of customer behavior, program performance, and other key metrics to provide insights and recommendations to the customer program team
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure customer programs are effectively executed and optimized for performance
  • Creating customer segments and supporting weekly and monthly campaigns in our customer loyalty system
  • Supporting ad-hoc data requests and analyses as needed to support strategic decision-making
  • Continuously improve our ways of working with data and help drive the data-driven perspective on the business


Your Skills And Background


  • You have a relevant educational background in business, economics, statistics, or the like.
  • You have a natural interest in data and how it can be utilized to create a difference for our business.
  • You are comfortable dealing with large amounts of data, looking for trends and opportunities, and translating these into understandable and presentable overviews.
  • You have strong analytical skills and proficiency in working with e.g., SQL (Snowflake, BigQuery), Python, R, and Excel.


It is an advantage, if you have worked with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
