Overview Payer Analytics Lead, Payer Relations Department Are you an experienced business data analytics expert? Are you a collaborative and strong team player? If so, we should talk! Hiring Company is growing to expand the dental payer support to 1,600 doctors and their office teams in the nation’s largest Dental Service Organization (DSO). With more than 1,000 dental offices supported across 37 states, over 10,000 team members and over 1,600 supported doctors in our support, Hiring Company has a proven track record of growth and success. We’re looking for professional individuals who are open, positive and mentally flexible to join our network of support. We are looking for someone talented in performing advanced business and financial data analytics to support insurance fee negotiation and to maximize values for Heartland supported dentists To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work in a team with other Payer Analytics Specialists, Payer Relationship Managers, and Payer Supporters, reporting to the VP/Sr. Director of Payer Relations. Responsibilities Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role: Provide business analytics for insurance network, fees, and contract negotiation Conduct benchmarks and competitive analysis of payer fee schedules across different payers Track & analyze external dental price trends at national and state levels Perform overall Payer revenue analysis on volume, price, share and growth trends, etc. Coordinate, conduct and document financial analysis projects and financial reporting, presenting results and recommendations to management Respond to requests for data analytics to supported offices/operations Translate business data into clear business focused deliverables for decision makers Define and recommend best practices for applying data and analytics solutions to resolve problems Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree (Math/Science/Engineering/Business) and 2+ years related experience or bachelor’s degree and 4+ years Skilled in: SQL, SAP HANA, Python, or Power BI Analytical Skills: extensive experience in statistical analysis of complex large data sets Communication Skills: strong skill in written and verbal communication of complex ideas and analytic findings Critical Thinking: strong skill analyzing trends, and data and come to new conclusions Attention to Detail: vigilant in data quality and precision of their analysis to come to correct conclusions. Collaboration Skills: extensive experience in working with internal and external clients ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks Skilled in data query (e.g. MS Access, SQL) and analytics tools (e.g. Excel, R, SAS) High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment Strong work ethic Desirable Qualifications: Medical insurance experience is a plus.
