The Business Intelligence and Data Engineering team at AmeriHome is the hub for all things “Data” at AmeriHome. We believe the best analytic solutions and applications depend on solid well designed data platforms that are built by asking the right questions, having a solid understanding of our business and most importantly - understanding our data. We are looking for a few dynamic and energetic individuals with fresh ideas to join our team.What we are looking for:
What you will do:
- Design, develop and maintain core databases that support the company with whole loan bulk purchases, early buyouts, and servicing operations.
- Maintain and enhance reports associated with whole loan bulk purchases, early buyouts, and servicing operations.
- Develop and maintain tools and analytic solutions.
- Develop and maintain programs associated with communicating data between third-party providers via various protocols (e.g. SFTP, HTTPS, Email, etc.).
- Design, develop and maintain generic tools that can be used in a proprietary data management platform that allows for rapid application development and implementation.
- Create, maintain and deliver quantitative processes including data mining, predictive and prescriptive analytics and other complex data processing.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or some other technically equivalent degree plus two years of on-the-job experience in a programming related role, OR
- Requires strong background in object oriented programming; C# or C++ a plus
- Requires strong background in relational databases, Microsoft SQL Server a plus
- Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and relational databases
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with various groups and roles within the company, including the CEO.
- Demonstrated in past experiences that the candidate can perform well in a fast paced environment; e.g. experience on or supporting a trading desk.
What will really catch our eye:
- Mortgage industry experience preferred
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or some other technically equivalent curriculum and 1+ years related experience
