Assistant Data Analyst - Manchester
Working with in a client organisation, based in the Transportation team, supporting the delivery of the 25-year Transportation plan across Rail and Highways.
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic + Package
Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office in Manchester / 3 - 4 days working from home.
Role And Responsibilities
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client operating across the Transportation (Highways & Rail) sector.
This role is working in a team that focuses across 3 core subjects, Data Analytics & Modelling, Economic Planning Analysis and Technical Assurance.
Your role will require you to deliver information, data, analysis and modelling that aids others in the production of outputs. You will be working with different departments within the business, liaising with external stakeholders (i.e., Local Authorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN and the DfT) regarding collating and utilising their Data, to improve processes, to help achieve an integrated transportation plan across Rail and the Highway sector.
Ideally experience working in the Transportation sector be it client or consultancy as you need to understand how the sectors operate when it comes to data and analytics.
This is a great first step for someone in a Transport Modelling, Transport Planning based team so used to dealing with various data, through to a data focused analyst that can process and use large volumes of information.
Experience Required
- A minimum of a HNC or HND or Degree showing Data focused modules.
- Experience in a Data focused position, ideally within Transportation, be it Highways or Rail.
