Data Analyst - Student Assistant

As our Data Analyst Student Assistant, you will bridge the gap between the business and technical teams by understanding the business needs and translating them into technical requirements. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders. And you play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully.

Proficiency with Power BI is desired, as the role involves data profiling and data exploration.


About The Job


As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Identify and document business requirements by working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Identify and document any potential issues or risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Continuously gather and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and ensure that it is up to date.
• Build Power BI reports and analyze data to produce insights.
• Facilitate communication between the different teams and stakeholders involved in the project.
• Help to identify, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and have experience in working with different industries and domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and identifying and mitigating potential issues or risks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience developing reports in Power BI
• Strong ability to adapt to changing environments and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, with experience in leading or mentoring teams

The Data function is where data is turned into information in Falck. We are four different teams working with: Data & Analytics, RPA, and Master Data. In the entire function we are 50+ data specialists working in Copenhagen and Warsaw.
