Job Summary

Senior Data Analyst will support the product, sales, leadership, and marketing teams by combining business acumen, statistical knowledge, and strong problem solving skills to analyze and deliver insightful, actionable data and visualizations to stakeholders. This is a key role in providing our client with entire end to end analytics solutions, from back-end data engineering, manipulation, and cleansing, all the way to front end data visualization.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a business intelligence developer, data warehouse developer, database developer, or ETL developer
• Experience working with a relational database (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to perform data mapping, blending and ETL design
• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices using Tableau or other related BI tool
• Experience working with business teams to translate functional requirements into technical requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Work hours: The Senior Data Analyst is a key role in the company is expected to work their shift, as well as additional hours to complete projects and tasks as needed.

Physical demands: Prolonged sitting with use of phone and computer.
