Data Analyst - Midlands

The Role


This role is varied with a wide range of responsibilities, the main responsibilities this role will entail:


  • Create reports and dashboards.
  • Interrogate data to understand any patterns.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Insights teams.
  • Types of Data - Sales data, Survey data, KPI data, Digital Clicks, Membership data.


Main Skill-Set


We are looking for a good mix of the below skills, (not necessarily all of the below):


  • SQL - writing code to query the database, create segmentation's and personas, using different functions, simple sums, complicated ranks, complicated queries with CTEs, stored procedures.
  • Power BI - creating dashboards, reports & visualisations
  • Excel


Desired Skill-Set


These are skills that would be an added bonus if you had them, (it is not compulsory for the role, if you have them - great, but if not you will be given the chance to develop these skills over time):


  • Python - code, build models


Must Haves


To be successful, it is essential you have the following:


  • 2+ years' experience working with SQL
  • Excellent communication: clear, concise and articulate
  • Passion for technology and self-learning to advance your own career.

  • Working Location - Hybrid - Ideally once a week in the office. Open to once a month in the office for those living further away.
