We are seeking a talented Sr. Data Analyst to join our team! As a well-established manufacturing company, we are committed to excellence and innovation. The Data Analyst will be a key player in driving strong data quality across the organization's reporting needs.

In this role, you will serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor, providing valuable insight and actionable recommendations. You will be responsible for capturing report requests, defining data requirements, determining data availability, and communicating the best course of action in a clear and concise manner.

As a liaison between business leaders, the Analytics Team, and IT, you will elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. You will be responsible for validating the integrity of the data by reviewing current solutions, identifying issues, defining requirements, and partnering with IT to implement the best possible advanced analytical solutions and data controls.

Your typical day will involve analyzing large and disparate data sets, performing data cleansing, and implementing standardization of data. You will ensure the Analytics Team's processes adhere to IT General Controls (ITGC) requirements and utilize query language to quickly retrieve and consolidate data to fulfill data and report requests.

As a seasoned professional with 3-5 years of experience in data management, enterprise data governance, and/or data analytics, you possess 3+ years of expert proficiency in querying data using relational database management systems (MS SQL, Excel, and Access, SAP S/4 and DWC, et al). You also have 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

We are looking for someone who can educate and promote the enterprise-wide data governance framework, focusing on continuous improvement of data quality, data policies and standards, and management of data. You should be able to develop training materials, analyze data movement, and help develop migration plans into a single warehouse environment.

If you have a BS/BA in business, statistics, computer science, information systems, applied mathematics, engineering or related fields, that would be a bonus!

This is a full-time position with a salary of $100,000 to $102,000. You will spend two days in our Addison, IL office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and three days working remotely.
