eADE Data Engineer

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the worlds most complex technical challenges. The Navys Enterprise Authoritative Data Environment (eADE) system will apply an authoritative data sharing framework that supports data analytics and business intelligence functions to the Navy’s HR systems. We are seeking Data Engineer to join our team.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop REST APIs with WSO2 that are the core foundational blocks for integration with partner systems.

• Building data sources, dashboards, and analytics reports in Tableau and Tableau Prep

• Prepare API documentation like API Swagger, deployment instructions, and training documents for APIs and other solutions.

• Contribute to best practices, develop solutions leveraging best-in-class technologies, including, but not limited to COTS products.

• Scope, prioritize, and coordinate tasks with lead and PM.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

• 3+ years experience with Tableau and designing and building REST APIs and web services with WSO2 Enterprise Integrator and WSO2 API manager

• Working experience with SQL and Oracle database.

• Experience with AWS Web Services

• Security+

• Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Hands on experience in designing and developing high-volume APIs and web services

• Hands on experience with API Management platform like WSO2 API Manager

• Familiarity with Python

• Experience with data product management and analytics

The likely salary range for this position is $104,800 - $157,200, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
