Job Summary

Amgen is using the latest technologies in the cloud computing Infrastructure, ML/AI algorithms, robotic automation, Process Intelligence, DevSecOps practices, Platform as a Service, and other modern automation technologies to build new drug therapies for patients that address grievous illnesses.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to fill a position in Amgen's Process Simplification and Automation team. Our teams are group of high-energy, motivated doers that want to improve the lives of our stakeholders through continuous productivity improvement via the use of automation software technologies.
Job Responsibilities
Set up and maintain data models/structures that would be the basis for analysis and work closely with segment teams
Collaborate with IT system experts to ensure the IT systems are set up correctly to gather all relevant information and support the most effective data structures
Maintain and extend existing data processing pipelines
Transform / Configure the source data into Execution Management format through SQL/ETL methods
Own data integration, data requirements, and data models that support analyses
Configure KPIs and create dashboards based on requirements
Generate ideas and suggestions for process and technical improvements for platforms and processes supported by the team
Use strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical business and end-users can understand
Develop best practices for solution and tool frameworks, leveraging standard naming conventions, scripting and coding practices to ensure consistency of data solution
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

What we expect of you
Basic Qualification
Preferred Qualification
3+ years of Data Warehouse/Data Lake development experience preferred
2+ years of Celonis and/or UiPath Discovery Experience
Experience with data platforms including GCP, SAP HANA, My SQL and SQL Server preferred
Expert knowledge of BI Reporting and Data Discovery tools.
Experience with business-critical applications.
Experience on large-scale implementation programs preferred.
Experience with SAP or integrating to SAP
Data Modeling and Architecting Data solutions small to large scale preferred
Experience with Cloud Native Technologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
